The Georgibergkirche, probably the oldest church in the Mürztal valley, is visible from afar on a striking rocky hill on the northern side of the river Mürz. The building has been secularised and is now owned by the Georgiberg-community (www.georgiberg.at). This community continuously restores the building and uses it for numerous cultural and social activities.
The church building is a rarity in its architecture and orientation in a north-south direction.
